Employment Verification Search
|
|
|
IMI will verify previous employment, including dates of employment
and positions held. IMI will always attempt to confirm salary,
job performance, eligibility for rehire and reasons for leaving
or termination. IMI will ask questions in accordance with
IMI's standard report format unless otherwise customized by
client. All employment verifications are performed over the
telephone, by fax or by general mail. The method of communication
is dictated by the company we are trying to verify. Some large
companies are using a 900 Number for verification, in these
few cases we would need to pass the cost of this telephone
call on to our client as a direct cost. IMI offers both Domestic
and International Employment Verifications Searches.

Education Verification Search
|
|
|
IMI can
verify degrees, diplomas, awards and certificates for all
education. Also included in the Education Search are dates
of attendance, GPA, Major/Minor and confirmation of Graduation.
IMI will also confirm if a High School Diploma is required
to attended any post-high school education, if the highest
degree is being verified. The method of communication is dictated
by the schools we are trying to verify. Some schools are using
a 900 Number or on-line sites for verification, in these few
cases we would need to pass the cost of this on to our client
as a direct cost. IMI offers both Domestic and International
Education Verification Searches.

Personal References Interview
|
|
|
IMI can
perform Personal References Interviews when there are gaps
in work history, school history, self-employment, companies
out of business, on current employment where the applicant
has requested not to contact or on any unexplained gaps in
time. IMI requests two personal references with daytime and
evening telephone numbers provided by applicant for this purpose.
IMI offers both a Standard Interview as well as an In-depth
Interview.

Criminal Search

IMI will search for any felony, misdemeanor convictions,
outstanding warrants and fugitive from justice information that
is available from the various county courts where the applicant
has resided for the past five (5-7) years. IMI will go back
as far as the immediate court records allow. For individuals
where court record information is obtained, the report will

no longer provide address information - California and Washington).
IMI also offers "Express" DMV Searches in
specific states. This is a much faster way to get DMV

Credit History Search
|

IMI will
provide a summary of the credit report and a copy of the report
from the credit reporting agency (Trans Union) which will
include verification of names and addresses of individual,
employment information if registered with the credit reporting
agency, trade accounts, payment histories, judgments, liens,
bankruptcies, etc. Federal law requires a signed release for
running all credit checks. IMI follows all federal requirements
according to the Privacy Act and Fair Credit Reporting Act.
A special form will need to be added to your job application
package which is to be filled in by the applicant. IMI also
offers a Joint Credit Report.

to determining where to run the criminal searches based on
any additional addresses and names found on the Social Security
